The bayou meets the bay when Magnolia takes the stage.

These Rhode Island musicians learned to play those sizzling Cajun sounds straight from the source, some of the legendary Louisiana players, and they’ve brought the spirit of the Pelican State back to the Ocean State. Their music is a rich mix of high energy two-steps and plaintive, soulful waltzes, with an occasional funky blues tune. Magnolia is made for the dance floor and their music is sure to get you on your feet. For more than two decades, they’ve been ambassadors for Cajun music and culture at festivals and dances all over New England and down the East Coast. They’ve recorded two albums that were nominated Cajun French Music Association Awards. Get ready to laissez les bon temps rouler as Magnolia adds a dash of Louisiana hot sauce to PVDFest.
