A movement and a mobile recording studio

June 3, 2017, 12-2:30 PM
Corner of Eddy and Fulton Streets, Downtown Providence

“The city is my name,” Mike Boston, is a rapper-entrepreneur-activist who has gained local and national attention as the founder of Mobile Stü, a mobile studio he takes into tough urban areas to give inner-city kids a voice—and to collaborate musically with police officers. To date, Mike has appeared on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, The Ellen Show, and he has a documentary series in the making. In addition to Philly, New York, Chicago and other cities that don’t share his name, look for Mike Boston mixing his Mobile Stü at PVDFest June 3 and add your own voice to the mix.
