Mr. Charles has received critical acclaim for his exciting performances, thrilling compositions and knack for connecting with audiences worldwide. Echoing one of his mentors, primo Jazz pianist Marcus Roberts, “going backwards is the only way to go forward”, Mr. Charles will discuss the many influences in his life and education that have helped shape his career. A brief question and answer period will follow the talk.
